Wow - what a lovely and kind comment - having grown up with Herriot’s books and the subsequent television series it’s a delightfully thoughtful reference to have made. I’d certainly aspire to follow in Herriot’s wake and if I’m able to accomplish something even a fraction of his brilliance, that would be fantastic. Thanks again for taking time to look at my writing and for the lovely feeling that comes with knowing it’s at least found a reader!
